The Unconventional Route is a travel and lifestyle blog that inspires its readers to live extraordinarily. Instead of following in everybody else’s footsteps, they promote local interaction, thinking outside the box, and creating new adventures and experiences.

The Unconventional Route started as a journal and has now reached nearly 75k monthly visitors. They needed a new logo as well as website designed to promote their content. The website was created in Wordpress with a focus on ad placement and mobile viewing.

The black and white design is simple, and easy to read and recognize. The circular shape symbolizes the earth and internationalism. The cursive “UR” represents the paths and routes that the bloggers take to inspire others to live an extraordinary life.
